  • How much does insulation cost?

The cost of insulation projects varies. While closed-cell foam is the most expensive, it is also the most effective and will likely pay for itself over time. Blown-in insulation is less effective and less efficient than closed-cell or open-cell spray foam.

  • Should I spray foam my home?

Spray foam is a great choice for renovations or new construction where the walls are exposed to the studs. We can add blown-in insulation through small holes in the walls for homes that require retrofitting. This makes retrofitting a great option for older homes without insulation or underneath attic floors.

  • What’s better: spray foam or fiberglass/blown-in insulation?

Closed-cell spray foam is an excellent insulation choice, offering superior insulating performance. However, it may not be the best option for every situation. Our experienced team can guide you in selecting the right insulation for your home, taking into account factors like its age and your budget.

  • I need help just deciding where to begin. Do you do free quotes?

We do! A big part of helping our prospective customers (even if we never work together) is just getting you educated and informed! That’s part of our free quote and consultation process.

  • Should I do spray foam, blown-in insulation, or fiberglass batting?

The right choice really depends on your space and budget! Closed-cell spray foam offers the highest efficiency but comes with a higher upfront cost. On the other hand, fiberglass batting is more affordable, though it won't perform as well as closed-cell or open-cell spray foam.

Making the best decision also requires experience and knowledge of your specific building. Our team can help you navigate these options, providing you with a detailed quote and expert advice to guide you through the process.

  • Will fiberglass gas off?

Fiberglass insulation doesn’t release any gases, making it a more passive option. Spray foam, however, does release some gases immediately after installation, but this process is typically completed within 24 hours, after which your home is ready and safe for your family.

  • Is fiberglass better than cellulose?

Fiberglass insulation is a great choice. It resists moisture, offers better insulating properties, and installs more quickly than traditional cellulose methods.
